The United Arab Emirates University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Abstract Mathematics. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in Topology and the abstract approach of Linear Algebra. Applicants should be deeply committed to delivering high-quality education at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as a strong dedication to service. They should demonstrate research proficiency, enabling the establishment and maintenance of internally and/or externally funded research in Mathematics related to the relevant field of study. Additionally, candidates are expected to publish their research findings in esteemed, peer-reviewed journals. The Department envisions this position as a significant stride toward building strong research groups in Abstract Mathematics. To apply, candidates should submit a comprehensive application package comprising a cover letter, a detailed resume, a concise teaching philosophy, a list of courses taught, and three recommendation letters—preferably one focused on research and another on teaching. English proficiency is essential, as it serves as the primary language for instruction and communication. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must have earned a doctorate in the applicable field. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus.
