Position Summary

The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a 10-month Assistant Professor of Nursing. The Assistant Professor of Nursing position is tenure track. Position begins August 1, 2026 or when filled.

Duties/Responsibilities

This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs.

Required Knowledge and Skills

A doctoral degree in nursing is required. Candidates in the process of completing a doctoral degree will be considered. The successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree by the start date of employment.

All candidates must hold a valid and unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license. Also, all applicants who are eligible for a compact RN license must apply and hold an Indiana compact RN license.

Valid Drivers License is required to facilitate transportation to off-campus clinical sites.
