A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or closely related fields such as Bioorganic or Bio-inorganic Chemistry is required. Department programs include an ACS-certified Chemistry undergraduate degree along with a relatively new bachelor’s degree program in Biochemistry, with 70-80 undergraduate majors total. A particular department focus is on providing students with distinctive research and professional development experiences.
