"Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy"

This position is a full-time 12-month core faculty member in the DPT program hired at the rank of assistant or associate professor based on experience. The position requires an active and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in Wisconsin (or ability to become licensed within 6 months of hire). A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice is required.

Instructional workload will include courses in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise with specific coursework assigned depending on faculty expertise. Faculty will be expected to supervise students in a pro bono physical therapy practice as part of instructional workload. The UWSP DPT program has a mission to meet the needs of rural communities, applicants with rural practice experience desired.

Additional position requirements include service to program, school, college, and university via committees, professional engagement, and contributions to scholarship.
