Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Utica University, a comprehensive, independent, private institution located in the heart of Central New York, is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position within the Physical Therapy department to start January 1, 2025. The successful candidate will primarily teach ground courses in the neuromuscular system curriculum during the traditional fall and spring semesters. Based on departmental needs, the successful candidate may also teach in other content areas, including geriatrics, pediatrics, other systems (e.g., integumentary, genitourinary, etc.), and/or research. Additional teaching opportunities are available based on the candidate’s areas of interest. The candidate will conduct research and service appropriate for Program expectations and successful tenure review. As a DPT Program faculty member, the candidate will participate in undergraduate and graduate student academic advising and professional mentoring.
