Assistant Professor of Instruction/Practice
The University of Texas at San Antonio College for Health Community and Policy and Nutrition and Dietetics Program invites applications for the Fixed-Term Track (FTT) Assistant Professor of Practice position.
Position Summary
The Nutrition and Dietetic program is considering applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice to teach for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and Nutrition and Health bachelor's degree for a period of one year with potential for extension.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nutrition (or related field).
- Teaching experience in post-secondary educational settings.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching and/or work experiences in the fields of public health nutrition, food production and management, and food science.
- Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
- Registered dietitian credential or eligible to take the dietetic registration examination.
Salary Range: Starting at $45,050/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications
