Salary Range: $45,050 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications

Job Type: Full Time, 4 classes

Position Summary

UT San Antonio seeks a Fixed-Term Track (non-tenure) Assistant Professor of Practice to teach Korean courses which focus on language fundamentals, language immersion, and practice of speaking in formal settings.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must have an M.A. or higher degree with a focus in language instruction.
  • Able to teach elementary and intermediate Korean courses.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have language proficiency in Japanese and/or any other Asian languages.
  • Ability to contribute in other ways to UT San Antonio's Asia Pacific Studies programs.
