Assistant Professor of Psychology
Position Overview
Talladega College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service missions of the Department and College. The Assistant Professor of Psychology will teach undergraduate courses in general psychology, research methods, and specialized topics, and will be expected to maintain an active research agenda.
Specific Qualifications
- Education: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology or a closely related field is required. Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) may be considered if completion of the degree is expected within one year of appointment.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Strong background in at least one area of psychology.
