Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:
The Department is particularly interested in applications from scholars with expertise in any subfields or areas of specialization within homeland security studies.
Educational Requirements for the Position:
Successful applicants will have completed a PhD (other types of doctoral degrees will not be accepted) in a field of study that has prepared them to achieve excellence in university-level teaching and scholarship in one or more areas within the Homeland Security Enterprise. This can include, but is not limited to, the disciplines of homeland security studies, political science, or public policy.
Experience Required for the Position:
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate the potential to meet the traditional rigor of tenure-track academic work (teaching, scholarship, and university service).
Other Requirements for the Position:
The position will be on-site and most or all of the instruction will be online.
