Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management

The University of Evansville’s Schroeder Family School of Business Administration invites applications and nominations for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management. We are seeking a scholar specializing in analytics, logistics, and supply chain management who is committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching, research, and service.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in business analytics, logistics, and supply chain management, while contributing to the University’s mission through impactful scholarship and active service to both the institution and community. This position also involves student engagement through advising, mentoring, and collaborative research, and calls for a commitment to fostering a collegial and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in business analytics, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Develop and maintain a robust research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications.
• Engage in service activities at the department, school, and university levels.
• Advise and mentor students, including participation in collaborative research and co-curricular activities.
• Contribute to a positive and collegial academic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D., or ABD in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution.
• Evidence of potential for high-quality teaching and scholarship.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience across multiple management areas, such as business strategy, operations, project management, and business analytics.
• Record of scholarly productivity or strong evidence of research potential.
• Ability to integrate innovative teaching methods and technology into the classroom.
