We invite applications for an Assistant Professor position from candidates who are motivated to develop research in Earth and planetary sciences based on a fundamental understanding of material properties, using computational and theoretical approaches such as first-principles calculations, statistical physics, and numerical simulations. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in both research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Inquiries regarding this position are welcome.
