The aim of the project is to examine strategies and practices adopted by technical universities in different countries in response to global and regional crises.
Participation in the IMPRESS-U research project, in particular: Preparation of research instruments, including interview guides; Data collection (e.g. interviews with stakeholders); Compilation and organisation of statistical data; Review and analysis of regulations and strategic documents; Communication with international partners; Preparation of reports and academic publications; Participation in meetings of the national research team and the international consortium. Skills/Qualifications
Fulfilment of the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571) and the NCN Regulations[1], i.e.: PhD in field of social sciences or humanities awarded no earlier than 2014[2]; Fluency in Polish and English, both spoken and written.
A record of academic achievements, particularly publications; Interest in the project’s research topics; Experience with MAXQDA software or willingness to acquire such skills.
Upon employment, the University of Warsaw is expected to be the successful candidate’s primary place of work.

[2] This period may be extended by long-term (over 90 days), documented sick leave or rehabilitation leave, as well as by periods of childcare leave in accordance with the Labour Code; in the case of women, it may additionally be extended by 18 months for each child born or adopted, if this method of calculating career breaks is more favourable.
Specific Requirements
Evaluation criteria: Scientific output, particularly publications in reputable academic publishers or journals (50% of the final score); Other academic achievements, such as participation in research projects, scholarships, awards, and research experience gained domestically or abroad, as well as scientific workshops and training (40%); Competence relevant to the execution of project tasks, especially the functioning of higher education institutions and the science system (10%).

Benefits
Salary: At least PLN 9,450 gross per month for a full-time position, plus a statutory additional annual salary (“13th salary”). The final amount depends on the candidate’s length of service. More information: LINK
The position does not involve teaching duties. The position includes business travel.

Selection process
