Offer Description
Essential requirements:
- a doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of social sciences or in equivalent disciplines under the previous classification;
- proficiency in both Polish and English, including the ability to teach in both languages;
- research interests in the field of management and quality sciences, including the social and cultural aspects of management, human functioning in organisations, and entrepreneurship;
- authorship of a scholarly publication (a monograph or a research article), other than the publication submitted as part of the requirements for the award of the doctoral degree;
- presentation of a conference paper at two academic conferences, including at least one international conference;
- willingness to teach courses in management and entrepreneurship in both Polish and English from the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
Desirable qualifications:
- documented experience of teaching management and/or entrepreneurship;
- documented experience of participating in or leading research projects. participant or a project manager;
- established links with the business and wider social environment, including the non-governmental organisation sector;
- ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- commitment to further academic development.

The deadline for submitting documents is 18 September 2026 at 3.00 p.m.
Hard-copy documents should be submitted to the Office of the Collegium of Management and Finance (SGH Building “M”, 6/8 Madalińskiego Street, third floor, Rooms 340 or 328; please note that the Collegium Office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays).
For documents sent by post, the date of receipt by SGH Warsaw School of Economics shall be decisive.
Candidates may be invited to attend an interview. The Office of the Collegium of Management and Finance will notify candidates individually if an interview is to be held.
The University reserves the right not to appoint a candidate following the competition without stating the reasons.
The outcome of the competition will be published in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) on the websites of the University and the Minister responsible for higher education.
The outcome of the competition does not constitute an offer of employment. It serves as a recommendation to the Rector, who makes the final decision regarding appointment.
