Offer Description
Main tasks:
- Conducting and developing research activities in the field of public health, healthcare organization and management, health policy, health prevention and promotion, quality, accessibility and coordination of healthcare, healthcare system performance assessment, health inequalities, digital health, and the application of new technologies in healthcare.
- Publishing scientific research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals and monographs, including those of international scope.
- Undertaking new research topics aligned with the scientific profile and strategic development directions of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
- Preparing and submitting research funding applications from national and international sources, as well as participating in the implementation of research projects.
- Collaborating within interdisciplinary research teams and fostering cooperation with domestic and foreign research centers.
- Disseminating research findings through active participation in conferences, seminars, and other national and international scientific events.
- Delivering teaching classes across fields of study conducted by the Faculty of Health Sciences and participating in the organizational and developmental work of the Faculty.
Formal requirements:
- Meeting the requirements stipulated in Art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science.
- Holding a doctoral degree (Ph.D.).
- Submission of all required documents necessary to enter the competition.
Substantive requirements:
- Holding a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in the discipline of Health Sciences.
- Holding a professional specialization in public health or environmental health.
- Holding a research track record comprising at least 3 scientific publications (articles in journals included in the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education or chapters in peer-reviewed monographs), authorship of a scientific monograph, or a publication of international scope (minimum 140 points).
- Having experience in conducting scientific research for a period of at least 1 year.
- Having experience in delivering teaching classes in higher education for a period of at least 5 years, comprising a total of at least 240 teaching hours in the field/discipline of Health Sciences.
- Having teamwork experience, including participation in a research, project, or organizational team for at least 6 months, or carrying out organizational tasks for the benefit of an institution for at least 6 months (confirmed, e.g., by scientific publications or conference presentations).
- Having teamwork experience, including in a managerial/leadership position, for a period of at least 3 years.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct teaching classes in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
- Excellent command of spoken and written Polish, enabling fluent, clear, and engaging teaching delivery.
Required documents (necessary to enter the competition):
- Curriculum Vitae (academic and professional CV).
- Scans of higher education diplomas, doctoral diplomas (and any other academic degree diplomas), as well as official documentation conferring an academic title.
- List of research and teaching achievements from the last 5 years, including information on published monographs, articles, reviews, active participation in national and international conferences, participation in research projects, and achievements in teaching students.
- List of academic awards and distinctions (if applicable).
- Information on organizational achievements.
- Set of candidate's declarations*:
- declaration regarding primary place of work;
- declaration regarding discipline affiliation and inclusion in the "Number N" of scientific staff;
- declaration of commitment to submit a Scientific and Research Development Schedule;
- statement of no criminal record (clean criminal record declaration);
