Applications are invited from candidates who meet the requirements specified in Articles 113 and 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended), as well as the qualification criteria set out in Table 5a of Annex No. 4 to the Statute of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, adopted by Resolution No. 494 of the Senate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn of 21 May 2019, as amended.

Skills/Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- a PhD degree in Food Technology and Human Nutrition or a related discipline;
- documented experience in conducting scientific research and publishing in JCR-indexed journals;
- university-level teaching experience;
- a scientific record comprising:
- a) at least 600 points awarded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) for publications in journals with an Impact Factor (IF), including at least 300 points obtained as the first author or corresponding author;
- b) experience as a Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, or member of a research team participating in at least one research project or research and development (R&D) activity;
- at least 300 MNiSW points for IF-indexed publications obtained within the last five years.
Specific Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- aptitude for academic teaching;
- experience in teaching courses within the Food Technology and Human Nutrition degree programme;
- ability to deliver courses using online teaching platforms and remote learning tools;
- experience in supervising undergraduate and/or master's theses;
- ability to work effectively as part of a research team;
- proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) in both spoken and written communication; for non-Polish applicants, proficiency in Polish is required;
- a strong and up-to-date research record in the discipline of Food Technology and Human Nutrition, particularly publications indexed in Web of Science or Scopus;
- experience in conducting research in the field of Food Technology and Human Nutrition;
- documented competence in operating analytical instrumentation, including GC-FID, GC-IMS, GC-MS, and other laboratory equipment, confirmed by relevant specialist training;
- postgraduate qualifications in Analytical Chemistry, demonstrating expertise in instrumental analytical methods;
- knowledge of chemical metrology and analytical method validation;
- completed courses or professional training in quality management and integrated management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or equivalent);
- completed training in supporting students with special educational needs, including students on the autism spectrum or those experiencing mental health conditions;
- active participation in the scientific community, including presentations at national and international scientific conferences.

Gross monthly base salary: PLN 7,741 (gross).
Eligibility criteria

Selection process
- The recruitment process consists of a single-stage selection procedure.
- Candidates who are not notified of the outcome of the recruitment process should consider their applications unsuccessful.
