Offer Description
Based on the decision of the Council of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Rijeka, the following position is advertised: one assistant professor (male/female), on a permanent, full-time basis, in the scientific area of Natural Sciences, scientific field of Mathematics, in the branch of Discrete and Combinatorial Mathematics. Applicants must meet the requirements prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (NN 119/22) and the regulations based on it.

Skills/Qualifications
The candidates have to fulfill the conditions defined by the Higher Education and Science Law (see Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 'Narodne novine' No. 119/2022.) and the regulations based on it.
Fluent Croatian spoken and written are required.
Specific Requirements
The application must include:
- curriculum vitae,
- a copy of proof of citizenship of the Republic of Croatia or another country,
- a copy of proof of appropriate professional training, i.e. the academic degree of Doctor of Science,
- a list of works and relevant works for selection,
- a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for candidates who obtained the qualification abroad (or proof that the recognition procedure is in progress),
- for foreign citizens, proof of knowledge of the Croatian language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (B1 level).
