Assistant Professor - Row Crop Entomologist
Position Summary
The Department of Entomology at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position (9 months) in row crop integrated pest management (IPM) with emphasis on cotton at the Assistant Professor rank. The position is budgeted at 65% research, 30% Extension, and 5% service.
The successful candidate will develop a nationally recognized research and extension program supported by competitive external funding, publish high impact research, and mentor graduate/undergraduate students. Extension responsibilities include communicating with row crop producers, extension agents, and stakeholders using traditional and digital media.
Anticipated start date is August 3, 2026. This position is located at the UGA-Tifton Campus, Tifton, Georgia.
