Position Overview
The Department of Sociology seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of aging. The appointee will:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including in the Health & Society program.
- Participate in the Center on Aging & Population Sciences.
- Support research, programs, and collaborative projects in aging studies.
- Contribute to service within the department, college, and university.
Qualifications
- Must have completed all requirements for the PhD by the time of appointment, or expect to obtain the PhD within a year of joining as an Instructor.
- Strong potential for research, teaching, and service in the field of aging.
