Assistant Professor up to Full Professor in Discourse Analysis

The English Language and Literature Department (ELL) at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites applications for one tenure track and/or tenured appointment at any level: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor position in Discourse Analysis.
Requirements
Applicants should minimally satisfy the following criteria:
- a PhD qualification in English Language/(Applied) Linguistics with a specialisation in Discourse Analysis from a university of good international standing (applicants who are nearing completion of their doctoral studies will be considered but PhD must be in hand at the time of appointment);
- an established track record of academic research, presentations, and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals, commensurate with the rank applied for;
- an established record of excellent teaching in relevant areas at undergraduate or graduate levels (preferably both);
- A research agenda with relevance to education will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and course development in Discourse Analysis at the undergraduate and graduate levels, obtain competitive research funding, undertake administrative and/or leadership roles, establish partnerships, and (for Associate and Full Professor level) mentor junior faculty members.
