Assistant Professor WOT/Associate Professor WOT, Department of Ob Gyn, University of Washington
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, with an anticipated start date of November 1, 2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month appointment, with 3-year term, renewable if appointed at the Assistant Professor level. This posting will fill two openings, one at the Assistant Professor rank and one at the Associate Professor rank.
The base salary range per month will be $25,000 - $30,834 ($300,000 - $370,008 annually) at the Assistant Professor level and $31,667 - $37,500 ($380,004 - $450,000 annually) at the Associate Professor level, with competitive total compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform outpatient obstetrical imaging, will be expected to work in high-volume inpatient and outpatient clinical practices, and will be expected to work in and build teams, and will be expected to support the academic mission of UW Medicine to improve the health of the public through education and research.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a M.D. degree or foreign equivalent and must have completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. In addition, candidates must be board certified and/or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Candidates at the Associate Professor rank should have at least 5 years of experience. All candidates must be eligible for and able to maintain a Washington State medical license.
