The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) seeks a full-time BC/BE Academic Specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology with expertise or a strong interest in Gynecologic Ultrasound.
The successful applicant will provide the full scope of General Obstetrics and Gynecology while contributing to the department's growing gynecologic ultrasound program. Candidates who currently interpret gynecologic ultrasound studies or have a demonstrated interest in developing expertise in gynecologic imaging are strongly encouraged to apply. The Division of General OB/GYN has a strong urban, community-based clinical program within the context of a nationally recognized academic medical center. The successful candidate will provide outstanding patient care in both on- and off-campus locations, participate in resident and medical student education, contribute to clinical and academic initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to advance women's healthcare.
Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher; however, final academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience.

Salary Range: $235,000- $420,000
Background Checks

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
· Board-eligible/board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland
· Two years of relevant experience preferred

The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the departmental faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental variable compensation programs. The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
