Assistant Program Manager/Government Marketing Specialist for APEX
The Assistant Program Manager (APM) and Government Marketing Specialist is integral in assisting the SEPA APEX Program Manager to meet program goals, offering consulting services to clients to help them meet Department of Defense (DoD) program objectives. Annually, this position is responsible for delivering between 450 to 525 hours of independent consulting to program participants. In addition to direct client support, the APM assists with essential reporting requirements on both budgetary and programmatic matters.
- Bachelor's degree or equitable US government-provided procurement certification/training.
- One-year direct business counseling with emphasis in government marketing and procurement.
- Must be familiar with the basic aspects of technical assistance required to be successful in government marketing (SAM registration, SBA registration portal, PA State Vendor portal, etc.).
- A working knowledge of state, federal and private sector special classifications programs (8(a), SDB, HUBZone, Keystone Zones, etc.).
- Experience communicating technical processes to diverse populations both orally and in writing.
- Ability to listen critically to identify needs and solve problems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and research skills.
- Proficient digital technology skills and ability to use CRM to enter data and generate reports, experience operating video-conferencing equipment and software used for virtual presentations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively handling multiple assignments while supporting client and program needs.
- A valid driver's license is required
- Experience providing business consultation in growth management or experience working as a contracting officer.
- Knowledge of CMMC regulations and requirements.
- Experience assisting SBIR/STTR and key innovative technology industry businesses (as defined by the DoD).
- Experience facilitating client and colleague workshops and assisting with outreach events by providing formal presentations to business and external constituents within the service area.
- Experience utilizing Outreach Systems/Neoserra CRM for data management.
- Experience using social media to promote events and promote program visibility.
