Our research focuses on genetic mechanisms of disease as well as interventions with primary focus on neuroimmune mechanisms and resilience factors contributing to neurodegeneration. We conduct studies in iPSC-derived stem cell models that allow us to model disease and disease modifying factors. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and undergraduate student researchers, preparing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals, and assisting with the preparation of grant proposals.
