Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach
About the Job
Responsibilities:
- 40% Teach and Coach student athletes with on deck responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Swimming and Diving
- 30% Evaluate and recruit qualified student athletes to the University of Minnesota whose athletic skills make them highly competitive in the B1G and NCAA, and whose academic abilities make them good candidates for a successful academic experience and graduation from the University of Minnesota
- 30% Assist the Director of Swimming and Diving in all aspects of developing and maintaining a competitive swimming program within the NCAA and B1G Conference. This will include operational and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Driver’s License
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- USA Swimming Coach Member Certification
- At least 2 years of collegiate coaching experience or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience recruiting at the collegiate level
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 ; depending on education/qualifications/experience
