- Master's degree in music technology, audio engineering or a related field OR Bachelor's degree and significant industry achievements or experience
- Experience: Music technology instruction at the University level
- Expert level proficiency or certifications in AVID Pro Tools Ultimate including AVID S series of control surfaces
- Expert level proficiency in analog and digital audio equipment
- Expert level proficiency in basic analog signal flow
- Expert level proficiency in live sound reinforcement and AV applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Ph. D. or equivalent in music technology, audio engineering, DSP
- Experience: Significant industry and/or teaching experience in immersive audio, DSP, and cross-discipline collaboration. Demonstrated experience in game audio, immersive environments. Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate courses.
- Experience in live sound, and production of commercial music.
- Demonstrated high proficiency on industry standard work surfaces such as SSL inline consoles, AVID, and Yamaha.
- Experience in electronics, soldering, building, instruction
