The Faculty of Education at the University of New Brunswick invites applications for a two-year term teaching position (with possibility of extension) at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor in the Online Bachelor of Education. The start date for this position is November 1, 2026, and is subject to final budgetary approval.

Responsibilities will include teaching in the BEd-Online program, developing and updating courses, and engaging in practicum supervision.

The successful candidate will have:

• An undergraduate Education degree plus a minimum of a Master’s degree in Education or a related field;
• Evidence of or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, especially online;
• Demonstrated knowledge of online educational and pedagogical practices;
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent teaching experience, including K–12 education;
• Commitment to inclusivity, equity, and accessibility in education.

The ideal candidate should also have:

• A strong record of teaching at the undergraduate level, preferably in a Bachelor of Education degree program;
• Knowledge of UNB’s BEd programs and of New Brunswick Teacher Certification;
• Experience working in diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
