Job Description:

Budget title: Division I Coaching Assistant (SL-1)

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Binghamton University, a NCAA Division I institution, and member of the America East Conference, is seeking an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach. This position will assist in all aspects of the women's lacrosse program under the direction of the head coach, including:

  • Conducting practice sessions and teaching skill development techniques to enhance player performance
  • Developing and executing game strategies to optimize team success
  • Performing film review and analysis to assess team and opponent performance
  • Assisting with recruiting efforts, identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes
  • Assisting with budgeting, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Coordinating team travel logistics, including transportation and accommodations
  • Assisting with scheduling of games, practices, and other team-related activities
  • Serving as an academic advising liaison, supporting student-athletes in their academic progress and compliance with institutional requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience coaching or assistant coaching
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience at the Division 1 intercollegiate athletics level
