Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach
Towson University is seeking an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. This position will assist the Head Volleyball Coach in the coaching and day-to-day operations of a Division I intercollegiate women's volleyball program. Additional responsibilities include complying with video/CAA exchange policies; assisting with camps/clinics, practice, and match preparation; helping with player development; monitoring social media; recruiting as permitted by NCAA rules and regulations; and attending community service events to support the program.
The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with on-court coaching and video analysis
- Utilizing DataVolley and Volleymetrics
- Assisting in the preparation of scouting reports, statistical breakdowns, and opponent video breakdown
- Assuming all duties in the absence of the Head Coach
- Performing other duties as assigned
The work hours for this position include weekend, evening, and early morning hours. Travel is required.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Two years of volleyball coaching experience
Preferred Qualification:
• Two years of volleyball recruiting and coaching experience at the Division 1 level
