Skills/Qualifications
Candidates may apply if they meet the requirements set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and the following qualification criteria:
- Master's degree in the field of social sciences, in the discipline of Education,
- Good command of English; in the case of foreign nationals, a command of Polish sufficient to conduct classes with students,
Specific Requirements
- application for employment addressed to the Rector,
- personal questionnaire (forms available on the University's website: www.uwb.edu.pl)
- CV and a cover letter demonstrating the qualifications appropriate for employment as an Assistant (M/F/Other) in the research and teaching staff group in the indicated Unit.
- academic curriculum vitae, including research, teaching and organizational achievements, together with documents confirming additional qualifications/competences,
- copy of a document confirming educational qualifications,
- list of academic publications (including the number of points awarded and copies of the first pages of the publications),
- statement that, if employed, the University of Białystok will be the candidate's primary place of employment within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- statement confirming that the candidate has read the annex to Rector's Ordinance No. 78 of the University of Białystok of 7 November 2024: Procedure for Reporting Breaches of Law and Taking Follow-up Actions at the University of Białystok,
- statement confirming fulfilment of the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science,
- candidate's statement consenting to the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation/GDPR),
