Offer Description
The scope of the position includes: conducting scientific and research work related to the institution’s statutory activities and external projects; preparing proposals and applying for funding for scientific projects; publishing research results in JCR-listed journals and national journals; conducting analyses using chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC); performing physicochemical analyses of agri-food products, primarily fruits, vegetables, and fruit and vegetable products, in accordance with established methods; conducting research from registration through the issuance of reports; maintaining documentation in accordance with established methodology and compiling collected data; operating and supervising measurement and testing equipment; performing work and maintaining analytical documentation for conducted tests in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 management system

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
Candidates are required to hold a master’s degree in agricultural sciences, food technology, human nutrition, commodity science, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field; a documented research record consisting of at least one paper published in peer-reviewed scientific journals listed in the JCR; at least 3 months of laboratory work experience; the ability to operate basic laboratory equipment; computer skills and familiarity with basic office software; fluency in Polish and proficiency in spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level; experience in conducting research projects; aptitude for scientific work (primary consideration will be given to published articles, participation in scientific conferences, involvement in or submission of research projects, and internships and scholarships abroad); preferred: documented participation in national and international conferences; experience in the validation and optimization of research methods; experience in laboratory work in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 management system
