National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest is the oldest and most prestigious engineer school in Romania and assumes the mission to train specialists in different technical fields that are able to use valuable scientific, technical and cultural knowledge, to contribute to the technological, economic and social-cultural progress of the Romanian society and the contemporary world.
Since the 1977/1978 academic year, when the Road Vehicles section was established, the City of Pitești became the 3rd national university center - after Brașov and Bucharest - in the field of Automotive Engineering.
The Department of Road Vehicles and Transport, Pitești University Centre, coordinates 4 bachelor's and master's degree programmes in the fields of automotive engineering and transport. The department carries out teaching and research activities related to road vehicles, vehicle systems, transport technologies and associated engineering applications.
The successful candidate will carry out teaching activities, mainly laboratory and practical activities, in the field of mechanical and automotive engineering.

Decision of the Competition Committee on the ranking of candidates, the nomination of the candidate who obtained the highest overall results, and the recommendation for appointment to the position: to be displayed at the premises of the Department where the competition was held by 14 October 2026.
Approval by the Faculty Council of the Competition Committee's Report: by 20 October 2026.
Approval by the University Senate of the Competition Committee's Report on the outcome of the competition: by 22 October 2026.
