The new hire will teach an approved curriculum of introductory, advanced level which may include graduate courses, support students in maintaining satisfactory academic progress, serve on thesis and dissertation committees, and pursue external funding opportunities. Additional responsibilities include participating in retention initiatives; advising and mentoring students; maintaining and reporting student grades and attendance, success reporting items, and timely submission of midterm and final grades in accordance with university policies; and other teaching and course review duties as assigned. It offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminal Justice with a Certificate in Crime Scene Investigation, a Master of Science and a Ph.D. with four areas of specialization, Digital Forensics, Investigative Science, Social Justice, and Research Methods.
