Duties: serve as faculty in the Clinical and Mental Health Counseling program; advise candidates for successful program completion; develop and teach graduate level classes in the Counselor Education Program; oversee the adjunct instructors for the program, review their syllabi and ensure that adjunct-taught courses meet the program’s goals for rigor and CACREP 2024 alignment; committee service and leadership; develop and maintain scholarly activity; work with professionals from clinical counseling settings; participate in opportunities to recruit, mentor and retain students and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Earned Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program (ABD will be considered); two or more years of relevant professional counseling experience; must be able to teach evidence-based counseling practices that are based on rigorous research methodologies; teaching experience at the graduate level; LPC eligible; CACREP accreditation experience preferred; expertise in online and hybrid instruction preferred.
