Assistant/Associate/Professor of Medical Education (Pathology)
Scope of Job
The UTRGV School of Medicine seeks faculty members at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for teaching Pathology. Experience teaching in an LCME accredited medical school is preferred. Their background should be in the discipline of Cell Biology and/or Pathology. The chosen individuals will assist in implementing a vertically and horizontally integrated curriculum utilizing active, team-based and problem based learning, flipped classroom and self-directed study.

Experienced, qualified faculty in the biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences challenge students to stretch and grow.
Additional courses taught within Medical Education ISU: Anatomy, Behavioral Sciences, Biochemistry, Clinical Skills, Histology, Microbiology, Pharmacology.
Minimum Qualifications
Terminal degree (Ph.D. or M.D.) or equivalent with postdoctoral experience in the area of expertise.
Preferred Qualification
Experience teaching in an LCME accredited medical school is preferred.
