**Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role**
The Associate Director, Campus Development, is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the University’s Hillcrest Campus Development Plan, renewal programmes, and major capital projects. Reporting to the Director Property Development & Infrastructure, you will lead the Property Services Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the University’s strategic priorities.
You will drive sustainability, accessibility, and innovation in campus infrastructure while providing robust governance, risk management, and reporting to senior leaders. The role also involves stakeholder engagement, fostering a high-performance team culture, and continuously improving systems, processes, and project delivery capability across the division.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful appointee. This is a full-time role (37.5hours per week) based at Hillcrest Campus, Hamilton.

You are an accomplished leader with extensive experience in senior property, capital development, or infrastructure roles. You have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive strategic campus outcomes. You demonstrate high-level planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills, and are committed to fostering inclusive, collaborative, and innovative teams.
Essential qualifications include a tertiary degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) are desirable.
