Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- May work some nights and weekends to promote events and
programs for the Center for Career Advancement (CCA)
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications
strategy that promotes the Center for Career Advancement's
programs, services, and initiatives through digital, print, web,
email, photographs and social media platforms.
- Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of the
Center for Career Advancement's social media strategy across
multiple platforms. Create and manage engaging content, oversee the
Center's social media presence and online communities, monitor
digital engagement and conversations, respond to emerging issues as
appropriate, and leverage trends, analytics, and best practices to
increase brand awareness, student engagement, and
participation.
- Create compelling content, oversee advertising campaigns,and
collaborate with University Communications, University Advancement,
Athletics, three academic colleges and other campus partners to
strengthen the Center's brand, increase student engagement, and
communicate career opportunities and outcomes.
- Work with the CCA Platforms team on continued development of
uConnect pages; outcomes reports, etc.
- Supervision of CCA Student Interns.

What You Will Bring:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related
field
- Four (4) years of related experience in advertising, social
media, communications or related field
Preferred, but not required:
- Masters degree in communications, marketing counseling or
related field
- Six (6) years of experience working with career/professional
development and counseling
- Documented experience with and demonstrated interest in work
with undergraduate student population
Knowledge Areas and Skills:
- Deep appreciation of and passion for the Center for Career
Advancement and mission of CCA, and an understanding of the
importance of career development in higher education
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing social media tools and web
technology to engage and extend reach of undergraduate career
services program with constituent audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills and a
clear, concise writing style with strong editing, spelling and
grammar skills
- Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for the
relationship between the liberal arts and employability
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital and mobile marketing
technologies, including experience with visual design tools (adobe
photoshop, canva), multi-channel social media management (X,
facebook, instagram, TikTok) and modern web-based marketing and
AI-assisted content tools and systems

Salary Range:
54,080.00-67,600.00
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's
credentials compared to the qualifications of the position,
internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship, all candidates must
be authorized to work in the US without a need for current or
future visa sponsorship.
