This position will serve as the critical bridge between HSD2 and PPSC, while supporting potential Promise Scholars in high school and at college, ensuring the Promise Program evolves from simply providing financial support to creating comprehensive educational pathways that promote student success and completion.
Job Description
The Associate Program Director - D2 Promise serves as the vital link between Harrison District 2 (D2) and Pikes Peak State College (PPSC), orchestrating collaborative efforts to strengthen and expand the Promise Program infrastructure. In addition, this position will provide direct student support in assisting students to meet the qualifications for the Promise Program and are successful while attending PPSC. This role will drive strategic planning, facilitate key stakeholder relationships, manage data collection, and develop programming that enhances student pathways from high school to college completion. The ideal candidate will build upon the Promise Program's foundation to create sustainable systems supporting students in their educational journey. This role welcomes professionals from education, corporate, nonprofit, or government sectors with strong partnership facilitation experience.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO - based at Peak Education, but involving travel to Pikes Peak State College and Harrison District 2.
Classification: Full-Time Exempt Position
Reporting Structure: This position reports to Peak Education's CEO while maintaining strong relationships with both HSD2 and PPSC administrations.
Job Responsibilities
- Partnership Facilitation: Lead the Strategic Working Group alongside D2, PPSC, and Peak Education stakeholders to align systems, streamline communication channels, and expand community resources.
- Project Management: Monitor initiatives across partner groups, establish clear deliverables/timelines, and manage resources efficiently to maximize impact.
- Program Development & Implementation: Design and execute targeted programming and multi-tiered support systems-including a Summer Bridge Program-for first-generation and underrepresented students transitioning from high school to PPSC.
- Outcomes & Community Engagement: Track key metrics, build compelling data narratives for leaders and CDE representatives, and leverage findings to inform grant reporting and continuous program improvement.
- Student Support & Tracking: Deliver direct student support through advising best practices and targeted workshops, while maintaining accurate records of student applications, enrollment, and follow-up activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ year's professional experience in field/sector/industry facilitating multi-stakeholder groups and proven ability to build relationship across multiple entities for a common goal
- Experience working with underserved populations, community development, social impact initiatives, or educational equity programs
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to track multiple initiatives
- Experience with data collection management including experience with CRM or student or customer/client/patient tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in education, counseling, or related field
- Experience in education, workforce development, community programs, or cross sector partnerships
- Familiarity with transition programs between K-12 and higher education
- Knowledge of grant management and funding opportunities
- Experience with project management tools
- Bilingual in Spanish
Compensation & Benefits
- The expected pay range for this role is $67,000-$72,000 annually
