Associate/Director, Development - College of Pharmacy

solicits prospects and stewards donors; works with faculty, staff and volunteers as appropriate. 3. Provides guidance to the college or unit on major gifts, other developments, and fundraising matters. 4. If assigned to a college or unit, may be responsible for creating and implementing a development plan for components within the assigned college, including resource management. 5. May administer other advancement activities, such as alumni relations, publications, special events, media relations, etc. for an assigned college or unit. 6. Participates in University-wide development activities as needed. 7. Performs other job-related duties as required. MQ: Education; Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4-year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Associate Director: Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Director: Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience. - Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience. - Department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education.
