Associate Director / Facilities Engineer
Brief Statement of Duties
Responsible for providing leadership to Plant Operations to include: 1) all building and utility systems maintenance (preventive, general repair, emergency and long-term), 2) the management of the building management systems and computerized maintenance management system, 3) projecting, planning, securing and managing long-term maintenance projects associated with all building and utility systems to ensure reliable and efficient system operation, 4) developing energy conservation and carbon neutrality efforts including executing supportive initiatives, projects and programs, 5) tracking, analyzing, and reporting of all campus utilities usage, and 6) project management which includes all duties associated with design, bidding, and construction.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Degree Area: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or related field.
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Valid motor vehicle operator's license
Required Minimum Work Experience: Five years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance. Three years of experience in preparing, reviewing, and/or critiquing construction design documents. Three years of construction methods, coordination, and/or inspection experience. Two years of supervisory experience.
