Job Description
Amherst College invites applications for the Associate Director of Multicultural Resource Center position. The Associate Director of Multicultural Resource Center is a full-time, year-round position. The expected range for this position is $72,000-79,000 per year.
The salary offered will vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to relevant education, training, and experience, tenure status, and other nondiscriminatory business considerations.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
Management, Operations, and Supervision
- Management of the day-to-day operations of the Multicultural Resource Center
- Serve as a core leader within the Office of Identity and Cultural Resources Team
Program Development, Facilitation, and Assessment
- Develops and coordinates academic programming within the Centers
Student Support and Development
- Serves as a key liaison to Student Care, CCMH, Class Deans
Content Development and Communications
- Oversee all of MRC's communications
Qualifications
Required
- Master's Degree in Student Affairs/Personnel, Higher Education, Social Justice Education, or an adjacent degree
- 2-4 years of progressive experience
Preferred
- Training, workshop, intergroup dialogue facilitation experience
