Reporting to the Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel, with a coordinating line to the Vice President for Research, this position provides legal support to Florida Atlantic University’s R1-designated Division of Research (DoR). Primary areas of support include the Offices of the Vice President for Research, Sponsored Programs, Research Integrity, Technology Development, and Comparative Medicine, among others. The role serves as a key legal liaison between the General Counsel’s Office and the DoR, and between the DoR and other University units, focusing on transactional and compliance research-related legal issues, export control, and foreign influence matters.
