This module intends to raise students’ awareness about trending technologies that are impacting businesses today. Four emerging areas covered are digital transformation, connectivity technologies, intelligence technologies and business transformation. For each of the areas, students go through the key developments as well as the role big data plays in facilitating the adoption of these technologies.
Job Description:
- Facilitate students’ learning and discussion forum on the online platform
- Conduct weekly virtual lecture or workshop
- Write assessment brief with detailed analytic marking rubrics
- Grade and provide feedback on assignments submitted by students
- Participate in teaching team or assessment meetings
- Respond to student’s enquiries in a timely manner
- Provide learning support through individual or small group consultation
- Prepare marking samples and module report with analysis of student performance
Job requirement:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at tertiary level
- 5 years of relevant working experience would be an advantage
