Fundamentals of Economics

This module provides students with an exploration of essential economic concepts, covering the basic economic problem, resource allocation through market mechanisms, microeconomic decisionmakers, government roles in the macro economy, economic development's impact on society, and the significance of international trade and globalisation. The module emphasises fundamental principles, market dynamics, major economic actors, government policies, and global economic interconnections, offering students a well-rounded understanding of key economic theories and their real-world applications.

Job requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at tertiary level
• 5 years of relevant working experience would be an advantage
• Must be available to teach during day time
