Associate Lecturer in Aesthetics
The Department of Creative Industries has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Lecturer in Aesthetics to support the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across a range of modules.
The ideal candidate will have credible industry experience within the non-medical aesthetics sector, with expertise in areas such as advanced skin care, cosmetic procedures (e.g. chemical peels, micro-needling), and the safe and ethical practice of aesthetic treatments.
You will be confident in delivering both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training, with a strong commitment to inclusive practice that supports a diverse student community. The ability to embed current industry trends, innovative teaching methods, and foster a professional learning environment is essential for this role.
In addition to teaching, you will maintain strong industry links, contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum and learning resources, and support students in progressing toward professional roles within the aesthetics industry.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team delivering industry-relevant, interactive, and inspiring sessions that prepare students for successful careers in the growing non-medical aesthetics field.
