Join the School of Social Science at The University of Queensland as an Associate Lecturer (Teaching Focused) on a 0.4 FTE fixed-term appointment. This exciting opportunity will see you contribute to the undergraduate Sociology program by teaching SOCY1030: Introduction to Health, Illness and Society in Semester 2.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Teaching: Coordinate courses, develop and deliver lectures and tutorials, assess and mark students, maintain quality of courses, mentor students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
• Citizenship and Service: Engage with the collegial life and activities of the School, including thesis marking where relevant and School ad hoc working parties, perform administrative functions, and uphold University values.
