"Associate Nursing Instructional Personnel for Clinical and Lab - Temporary Pool"

Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part-time Associate Nursing Instructional Personnel in the Department of Nursing. This is a temporary position for instructing students in laboratory and clinical components of courses for both traditional and accelerated BSN students, working with diverse groups.

Responsibilities: Associate Nursing Instructional Personnel are part-time employees hired to teach on a per-hour basis for specific labs and clinical needs. Duties include meeting assigned lab and clinical content consistent with university policies and providing instruction aligned with course objectives. Candidates must be sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population and adhere to established policies.

Required Qualifications:

• An active unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited program.
• At least two (2) years of full-time professional nursing clinical experience.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience in the field of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Participation in a clinical scholar/preceptor program.
• A professional nursing certification.

Terms of Employment: This is a part-time, at-will position with no benefits, up to 19 hours per week. Teaching is in person/on campus.

Salary: The hourly rate is $46.00/hr.
