Job Overview

Lindner Center of Hope is a nationally renowned psychiatric center of excellence located in Mason, Ohio, committed to providing state of the art care to patients at all levels of care. The Lindner Center of Hope (LCOH) is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to lead and advance the clinical excellence of our psychiatric and medical services across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, neuromodulation, and outpatient programs. This individual will drive the Center’s commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care while fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Chief Clinical Officer also serves as a medical liaison with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and its affiliates. This includes maintenance of collaborative relationships in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, as well as other services of clinical medicine, to advance the aims of excellence in clinical care, clinical research, and education. Final rank of faculty appointment is commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership for psychiatry services at the Lindner Center of Hope that positions the Center to lead the field in providing high quality, evidence-based, and personalized psychiatric care; integrate the Center’s Research Institute’s research findings into care.
  • Collaborate with the President/CEO, Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, Senior Director of Marketing and Outreach, and others to maintain and expand referral networks. Contribute to growth.
  • In partnership with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, oversee and elevate the education of medical students, psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and other mental health trainees.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, including the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, to manage space and resources dynamically, adapting programs to evolving patient needs.
  • Serve as a resource and consultant for clinical staff, providing guidance on complex patient care situations and best clinical practices.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and mentoring of new psychiatry and medical staff, ensuring a consistently high-performing clinical team.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload as appropriate, offering psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, supervision, or other interventions based on licensure and patient needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all Ohio state regulations and Joint Commission standards across inpatient, residential, and outpatient services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
  • Current Ohio medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Completion of 4 year Psychiatry residency.
  • 5-7 years experience in a health care setting and in leadership roles.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office applications).
