Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Human Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of human genetics research, with a track record of publication and good communication skills. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Candidates must be certified or board certified/eligible in Clinical Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include engaging in funded research involving human genetics, genomic medicine, or translational therapeutics.
