Where Passion Meets Impact - Join the School of Health!

Are you eager to make a difference in health education and research? Join our dedicated team of researchers and educators at the School of Health (SOH). As an Associate Professor in Clinical Exercise Physiology, you’ll join our Sport and Exercise Science team and play a key role in shaping learning that truly matters. About you:

Our ideal candidate is someone who brings thoughtful leadership to their research, teaching and engagement. You value strong, purposeful relationships with colleagues, students and community partners, and you contribute positively to a collaborative academic environment. At your core, you are motivated by work that makes a real and lasting contribution to your discipline and to the region you serve.

You will possess:

  • A demonstrated contribution to shaping and advancing the clinical exercise physiology field. A clear and well-established research program supported by strong outcomes, external recognition, successful HDR supervision and evidence of meaningful impact. Experience guiding research culture through mentoring, supporting early career academics and contributing to national discipline or assessment panels. A record of effective teaching, shown through thoughtful curriculum design, research-informed practice, leadership in learning and teaching initiatives and recognition for excellence. Personal qualities that foster a collaborative, supportive academic environment where students and colleagues can thrive. Extensive experience in academic administration within a university setting. The ability to build and sustain valuable partnerships across regional, national and international communities that enrich learning, research and engagement.
