Your next career opportunity
You will lead specialist Endodontics education and research, convening the DCD Endodontics program at RDHM.
You will shape national standards in Endodontics training while building multidisciplinary collaborations and impactful clinical research programs.
What you will deliver:
- Contribute to the leadership of DCD Endodontics program, overseeing curriculum, assessment, student experience, and coordination of academic and clinical staff.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and safe clinical supervision in Endodontics across entry-to-practice, specialist and continuing education programs.
- Build and lead a competitive research program in Endodontics, securing external funding and publishing in high-impact outlets.
- Supervise higher degree, graduate and postgraduate research students, fostering excellent research training and timely thesis completion.
- Contribute academic leadership and service through committees, accreditation activities, national guideline development and mentoring academic colleagues.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold specialist Endodontics registration with AHPRA, or equivalent qualifications enabling timely attainment of Australian specialist registration.
- Possess a completed PhD in Endodontics or a closely related dental or health sciences discipline.
- Provide strategic leadership in clinical teaching, curriculum design, assessment and educational innovation in specialist Endodontics programs.
- Demonstrate an established research profile, with competitive grant success, quality publications and evidence of research translation.
- Show experience supervising higher degree and postgraduate research students through to successful thesis completion.
- Engage collaboratively across disciplines, professional bodies and hospitals, contributing to national standards, guidelines and accreditation activities.
